Jason Paul sounds like he should be our guy. I don’t know who he is, but I like him.
It’s also time to increase transparency within the Party. I anticipate fundraising is going to be a lot harder for the foreseeable future & possibly, volunteer recruitment will be, too.
I really want the DC consultants to go back to corporate work, podcasting, or whatnot. They are so out of touch with how the rest of the country lives that they can no longer craft a message that resonates.
You know whose words resonated with me and many others? Tim Walz’s no bullshit plain talk. More of that, please.
Actually, I see this as a unique opportunity for fund raising and a rise to prominence. Scared people are desperate for something/someone to lead. I suspect they’ll get behind that person/group and raise the battle standard. They’ll do that with either action or money. Did we not learn anything from Trump’s rise to power? The idea of the people rising assumes a common achievable purpose. We don’t have that and we don’t have time to scramble and put something together. We will be at cross purposes even in our good intent
So who is going to be that symbol of leadership? Who will demand that we follow the Constitution and hold our judiciary responsible for backing it. If they don’t, then the three branches of government will be no more and their positions will be irrelevant.
I’ll give to candidates now, though never again to any of my current senators/reps. Not to the DNC and not to the congressional committees, unless they start supporting candidates in every region and running candidates in every race.
I am cautiously optimistic about the Martin/Hogg leadership, though.
Great analysis. It gives me faith to see that so many have rejected the Party of identity politics, higher taxes, bigger government, and more government spending. The message of 2024 should be clear: ENOUGH! We have a border; it must be respected. There are two sexes; it's determined at birth. Government isn't the solution to your problems; government is the problem. Mother Earth may be warming. The question is how will humans adapt to it? And it's not just in the U.S. This trend is happening across the world. Sorry, libs.

Ok, I’ll stop.

Excellent breakdown. This is a five-alarm fire.

Just become a Republican, you already agree with them anyway…you’re just parroting Reagan talking points
Thanks, Steve, for your alarming but likely accurate assessment of the current situation.
Hear, hear.
